This bonspiel presented an excellent opportunity for all New Brunswick curling clubs to get together in one bonspiel to celebrate 150 years of curling in this province. All clubs in New Brunswick were encouraged to enter at least one team to represent them in this event.

The bonspiel was held at FCC on November 19, 2004, with a Friday evening "welcome reception." Saturday saw an exciting day of eight end games followed by a banquet in the evening. Curling was finished by noon on Sunday the 21st.

Both Mens and Ladies teams competed, as well as some Mixed teams.

A wide range of prizes was awarded. The top prize included a framed print depicting curling in New Brunswick 150 years ago, with a copy presented to each member of the winning team. Numerous other prizes were presented during the closing ceremonies.

FCC sincerely thanks those who participated in the bonspiel and made it a great success.
